Dear Prince of Wales Collegiate family and friends,
The school council, student council and staff of Prince of Wales Collegiate are excited to announce a first of its kind event for our school – The Prince of Wales Collegiate Then and Now Fundraiser! The event will be a celebration of PWC’s rich history and unique diversity and will take place at the school on April 27, 2024, from 7-11pm. Family members of both current and former students, as well as alumni, friends, and supporters of our school community are all invited to attend. Please note that this is a 19+ event.
Event highlights
Attendees will be treated to a fun-filled night of live entertainment, bar and cafe services, international foods, and a live and silent auction. We will also take attendees on a walk down memory lane with displays of memorabilia from days past and present from the school archives. Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to share details on the event’s Facebook page, including sneak peaks of auction items and memorabilia that will be available at the event. Look for the “PWC Then and Now Fundraiser” event and please like and share the page with your PWC friends and family. All funds raised will go directly to the school to purchase items to enhance the educational experience of all students.
Tickets
Tickets are $25 each and are available in several ways. You can:
Purchase tickets at the PWC main office.
Add your name and a contact email to the Then and Now Fundraiser Ticket Request Form. A member of the school council will contact you to arrange payment by e-transfer.
Purchase tickets in the PowerSchool Parent Portal using Rycor (only available for parents of current PWC students).
Kindly requesting volunteers and donations
To make this night a success, the PWC School Council is welcoming volunteers to help with the event. We are eagerly accepting offers of your time on event night to help things run smoothly. We also need volunteers to help with preparations and set up in the days leading up to the event. In addition, if you or someone you know is able to offer a monetary donation or auction item, all offers are greatly appreciated! Items could include gift certificates, crafts, certificates for services (such as massage, hair cuts, pedicures, car detailing, etc.), hotel/motel certificates, restaurant certificates, art work, gift baskets, household items, etc. No item is too small and can always be combined with other items.
If you are interested in volunteering or have items to donate, please reach out to the PWC school council at pwcschoolcouncil2024@gmail.com. You may also drop off donations or auction items at the school at your earliest convenience. Let’s make this a night to remember for all who attend!
